Hi! My name is Ruchi Ghimire, and I will be supporting you in on boarding as a client of FSS.

Growing up in the midst of a culture clash between my Nepali ethnicity and Australian nationality exposed me to a culturally diverse experience of the world that was fraught with its own challenges. This played a large role in my passion and curiosity for understanding how our minds and spirits work in conjunction with the rest of the world.

With this interest, I undertook a degree in Psychology and Criminology with a minor in Philosophy and am due to complete this at the end of 2025. Having lived experience and learning about intergenerational trauma and the stigmatisation of mental health, I am drawn to supporting people through their own difficulties. 

As a deep feeler, I have learned to foster compassion for not just others but myself as well. Each day, I take a mindful step closer to embracing the power in my sensitivity and compassion and am grateful for the opportunity to do so.

When I am not working or studying, I love to sit out in the sun with Neelo, my cheeky Staffy. Other times, you can find me reading or watching a true crime documentary.
